Police Recover Body from Detroit River

Wyandotte police said they responded to a call from the Coast Guard at about 1 p.m. Friday and recovered the body of a black male near Hennepin Point in the Detroit River.

Police recovered the body of a black male from the Detroit River on Friday afternoon, the Wyandotte Police Department said in a statement Friday.

Wyandotte and Grosse Ile police responded to a call at about 1:30 p.m. Friday from the United States Coast Guard after a body was spotted near Hennepin Point in the Detroit River.
