Trenton Police Issue Driver Warning, Arrest Him Hours Later
The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Trenton police arrested a 20-year-old man after being pulled over for the second time in less than four hours and violating the terms of his restricted driver's license at about 2:40 a.m. Oct. 6 on Fort Street near Grow Street.
The officer first pulled the man over at about 11 p.m. Oct. 5 after he observed a green 1997 Ford Escort with only the parking lights on. The man told police he was driving home from work and the officer issued him a warning.
The same officer saw the man's car early the next morning driving with a license plate light out and pulled the car over, after recognizing the driver from the previous traffic stop.
