Police Blotter: Woman Reports Two Years of Harassing Texts

A 46-year-old woman reported to that she had been receiving harassing text messages from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend.

The woman said the text messages were vulgar and had been sent to her phone for more than two years.

On Dec. 14, the woman told police she normally ignores the texts, but recently the ex-girlfriend began targeting the woman’s daughter.

The woman became upset and told police she wants the messages to stop.

Police said the messages came from two different numbers and advised the woman to call her cell phone company and block the numbers.
