Police Blotter: Thief Breaks Window, Steals Lunch

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 61-year-old woman reported to police someone had broken out her front passenger window to steal her lunch at about 11 p.m. June 27 in a parking lot at Oakwood South Shore Hospital, 5450 Fort St.

The woman said she parked her 2004 Ford Taurus in the parking lot at about 11:30 a.m. and when she returned at about 11:30 p.m. someone had busted her window and stolen a red nylon lunch bag that was sitting on the front seat.

Later, in the early morning hours of June 28, the lunch bag was recovered by a parking lot security guard, according to police.
