Police Blotter: Several Car Break-ins on One Day

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The afternoon of Feb. 18 was not a good day for some people living or working in Trenton.

Auto-theft at Carafelli Chiropractic

A man reported to that someone went into his unlocked Ford Edge and stole his portable navigation device while the truck was parked in the parking lot at Carafelli Chiropractic about 1:30 p.m.

Police said two other employees at Carafelli Chiropractic stated their vehicles had been rummaged through, as well.

The employees told police only a few dollars in change were taken from their unlocked vehicles.

There are no suspects at this time.

Auto-theft at Islandview Condos

A man reported to police someone stole his wallet and workbag out of his Ford Escape at about 2:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive.

The man told police his wallet contained his driver’s license, $200 cash and several credit cards. There was information available on the contents of the bag.

There were no signs of forced entry to the truck, according to police.

Police said there were several other vehicles in the area that were broken in to.

There are no suspects at this time.
