Police Blotter: Man's Residence Allegedly Burglarized While He Is in Prison

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 56-year-old woman flagged down a officer at about 10 a.m. Sept. 13 to report a burglary at a residence in the 4800 block of Fort Street.

The woman told police she had been paying rent on the residence for her brother, who is in prison, so he would have a place to live when he is released.

The building is currently condemned due to a fire, and the woman was attempting to remove her brother’s belongings, according to police.
