Police Blotter: Hedke Elementary is Vandalized

are looking for a man who allegedly cut the screens and bent the window frames of nine windows at on Sept. 18.

Hedke Principal Vincent Porreca reported the incident to police at about 2 p.m. Sept. 26.

Porreca said that a review of the school’s surveillance video revealed a slightly overweight white male with a light-colored beard, walking a light-colored dog, possibly a golden retriever, approaching the school and walking along a similar path next to the building where the vandalism took place according to Trenton Police.

Porreca said no entry was gained to the school.

The cost to repair and replace the window screens and frames was said to be about $1,000.
