Police Blotter: Flat Screen TV Stolen Out of Camper in Trenton

The following arrest information was supplied by the Trenton police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Flat screen missing from camper

Police took a report about a stolen flat-screen television from a man who walked into the Station at about 10 a.m. May 23.

The man, 62, told police that he had parked his 2010 Cameo camper at M&M Camper Storage Yard, 4060 W. Jefferson Ave., from about 9 a.m. April 11, 2011, to about 3 p.m. May 18, 2011.

During this time an unknown person or persons gained entry to the camper and stole a 32-inch Samsung high-definition, flat-screen television.

The man said the person or persons broke into the camper by using a prying instrument through a side door, causing damage to the door.

The counter top and television stand were also damaged.

Police said there were no witnesses or evidence collected.

Laptop, navigation unit and more stolen out of truck at

Police responded to a larceny from an automobile report at Elizabeth Park Marina at about 1:30 p.m. May 21.

A man, 45, told police he parked his 2003 Ford pickup truck at the marina from about 8 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m. while he went fishing.

During this time, someone went into the truck through a back sliding window with a missing lock.

The items said to be stolen out of the truck were a laptop computer with a leather brief case; a navigation unit; a Verizon wireless card; $25 cash; reading glasses; a day planner containing passport; an iPod Touch; two memory sticks; and a roadside emergency kit.
