Police Blotter: 2 Women Fight at Bowling Alley

Police responded to a call about two women fighting at Parkway Lanes.

Police responded to a call about two women fighting at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at , 2591 Fort Street.

At the bowling alley police said they spoke to numerous individuals that said the fight had happened about 30 minutes before they had arrived and was over.

While interviewing people, police were approached by a 23-year-old woman who told them that the mother of her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend had assaulted her.

The woman told police she had been sitting in a chair near one of the lanes and was approached by the 43-year-old woman.

She told police that the woman grabbed her by the throat and dragged her out of the chair in which she was sitting. She added that the woman also slapped her in the face.

The 43-year-old woman told police that the other woman had poked her in the chest and she was defending herself.

She added that they had been arguing because she was dating her daughter’s ex-boyfriend.

Police said all of the people interviewed were intoxicated and their stories about the event were slightly different.

The 23-year-old woman said she did want to press charges and the older woman said she wanted the incident to be over with.
