Not So Pretty in Pink: Teens Spray Paint Kennedy Park Bridge in Trenton

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police apprehended two teen boys after receiving a call at about 5 p.m. June 14 about two juveniles spray painting a bridge at Kennedy Park.

The boys, ages 14 and 15, were found running from a bike path towards the backyards of residences on Patton Street.

Police said one of the boys had pink paint on his hands, shirt and leg.

Police walked the boys back to the bridge where they had spray painted the word "Tyle" in pink spray paint on the walking part of the bridge, according to a Trenton police report.

The teens were taken to the Trenton Police Department and turned over to their parents, who said they would pay for the damage.
