Man, Woman Arraigned After Alleged Prescription Drugs Theft at West Grange Pharmacy

A man and a woman are facing several charges after allegedly breaking into West Grange Pharmacy early Thursday morning and stealing more than 12 bottles of prescription drugs.

Thomas Frederick Taylor, 23, of New Boston, and Megan Rose Kordos, 30, of Plymouth, were arraigned before Judge James Kersten at about 3 p.m. Friday at the 33rd District Court in Woodhaven.

A preliminary examination of the evidence is scheduled for 9 a.m. Jan. 22 at the 33rd District Court for both Taylor and Kordos.

Taylor is charged with breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools and larceny in a building. He is a habitual offender, according to Deputy Chief Steve Voss of the Trenton Police Department.

Kordos is charged with breaking and entering and possesion of burglary tools.

Taylor is being held on $150,000 cash bond at Wayne County Jail.

Kordos is being held on $75,000 cash bond at Wayne County Jail.

According to a Trenton police report, the two allegedly smashed a glass front door at the pharmacy and stole:

  • 6 bottles of Promethazine
  • 4 bottle of Alprazolam
  • 2 bottles of Cialis
  • 1 empty bottle of Xanax
  • 28 loose Xanax pills

Taylor was found with fresh cuts on his hands that were bleeding at the time of his arrest, according to the same report.

Police said they found several pieces of broken glass lying on the seat of the vehicle the two were driving and in Taylor's front pants pocket.

Police caught up with Taylor and Kordos after receiving an anonymous tip.
