Trenton Man Reports His Car Was Shot With a Paintball Gun

responded to a call from a resident who said his car had been shot with paintballs at about 9 p.m. April 29 on the 3200 block of Salem Drive.

The man told police he was inside a nearby residence when he heard a vehicle drive by and make a shooting noise, according to a Trenton police report.

The man went out to check on his 2007 Chrysler Crossfire and the suspected vehicle came back.

A neighbor told police he was outside and saw the vehicle, a grey Ford Escape, coming back down the street after it shot the car next door.

The neighbor said he saw the passenger in the Escape had a paintball gun between his legs.

Police said they did not see any dents, and that it appeared the damage would wash off.
