Judge Dismisses Alleged Facebook Stalking Charge Against Jennifer Petkov

A Wyandotte judge dismissed an alleged stalking charge against Jennifer Petkov on Thursday.

An alleged stalking charge against Jennifer Petkov was dismissed Thursday at 27th District Court in Wyandotte.

Judge Randy Kalmbach dismissed the charge after the prosecution was unable to prove postings on the popular social media website Facebook came from Petkov.

The charge was filed in 2011 and alleged Petkov was stalking her ex-husband's girlfriend on Facebook and YouTube.

The girlfriend accused Petkov of posting negative comments on her own Facebook page concerning her, sent her negative messages under the user name "MissMarie HatersCallme," and uploaded, onto the web, videos talking about her between March and June of 2011, according to a motion provided by Petkov's attorney Scott Weinberg.

The girlfriend also told the Wyandotte Police Department that Petkov drove past her house. She was advised by police to obtain a personal protection order, but one had not been requested, according to the same motion.

Weinberg said the social media postings were not admissible and were insufficient to meet the required elements of stalking.

Petkov gained national attention in 2010 after .

The girl, in January.

There you go the law protecting the criminals and not the victims!!!! This woman needs a life!!! Stop harassing innocent children and people!!!! She is beyond psychological help!!! She needs to be locked up!!!!

If there was a court hearing on Thursday why wasn"t the victim notified of this, to be at Court. She is my future daughter-in-law and I know as a fact she received no notice of Court.

Sounds like a cover-up, with all of the 'bullying' going on right now this would have been the perfect time to set an example that it will NOT be tolerated by anyone!!

The courts are fooled by Jennifer and her lawyer! She stated in court that she was moving to Florida then when she got out of the situation with Rebecca Rose they took the for sale sign down and said jokes on you we aren't going anywhere! Well sorry but I say jokes on Trenton cause they are stuck with her and her bullying!

You stay classy Ms. Petkov, first a terminally ill 7 year old child, now your husband's ex-girlfriend. You and your husband are scum, but then again, you are both juggalos, so go figure.

This woman is despicable, I cannot believe a person would act this way toward a child, she should definitely be locked up or put away somewhere so that other people will never be bothered by this scum.

I don't know where the information came from - but if You are going to write something get the whole story . The victim did not request a personal protection order because she was advised by the prosecution not to. So don't turn this around on her. The attorney only wants the accused to look good.

Seriously who cares ........Don't you people have a life? enough already....

David Justice, you are wayyyyy off base. You must have your Judges confused. Also, our system requires the girlfriend to prove her case. If she didn't, that's on her. Is a judge supposed to rule on emotion alone?? You can't! Is Ms. Petkov a despicable bully? Yes! But a Judge has to rule a case based on the facts. What would happen if Judges ruled based solely on emotion? Come on people, we are all better educated than this. Ms. Petkov will answer to a higher power.

Also, when you said "teether", did you mean "tether"? I hope this is the case as I'm sure the Judge has all of his adult teeth.....just sayin'
Janis April 08, 2012 at 02:06 PM
This whole conversation is a waste of time, I'm sure Petkov could careles what anyone thought. David , if a case is dissmissed, there had to be a reason, judges don't dissmisse a case if there is enough proof to go to trial. So obvisouly we don't know the whole storie. Paula it clearly states the "victim" was told to get a ppo, not that the "victim" requested a ppo.

That is a lie, comments removed because this site does not want to report the truth, what was submitted was 100% accurate and truthful, yet you claim violation of TOS please explain exactly what part of that was violated? Last I checked this is America and freedom of speech was still in place, when someone is representing facts how can you take that down? I know why its always the same reason,, anything said again Wyandotte's finest or in this case the judge off the site it goes, public has the right to know yet you pick and choose what you want to show. Making this site a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Justice April 11, 2012 at 11:56 AM
Comments being erased that are facts is ridiculous, this is a public forum and should not UP to you to judge what facts should be on the site perhaps you are having lunch with the judge or cops, whatever it is makes this site a joke when you delete comments that are FACTS.
