Trenton police arrested a 49-year-old man after he fell asleep at the wheel, while stopped at a traffic signal at about 12:30 a.m. March 3 at the intersection of Van Horn and Fort.

Police said the man was unconscious and slumped over the wheel when officers found him with the driver's door locked and the car in drive. The car was not moving.

An officer knocked on the car window and, after several attempts, was able to awaken the man. The car began to roll as the man woke up and began staring at the ceiling, according to a Trenton police report.
