Drunken Driver Crashes into Ditch, Lands in Trenton Jail

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Trenton police arrested a man for drunken driving after he drove his car into a ditch on Sibley Road and attempted to walk away from the incident at about 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23.

Police were responding to the area of Sibley and Hinton to check on a possible roll over accident when an officer found a man they believed to be involved in the accident walking up a driveway in the 18000 block of Hinton.

Officers arrested the man after he refused to answer their questions because, "he said he would not speak because he was falsely arrested for cooking dinner in his house," according to a Trenton police report.
