Thieves Use Wheelbarrows to Steal Tools from Trenton Business

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Trenton business owner reported someone broke into his yard and five storage trailers and stole tools, equipment and scrap metal at about 6 p.m April 7.

Trenton police said someone parked a vehicle along a fence and railroad tracks near A to Z Contracting, cut the fence, pried the locks off and used wheelbarrows to transport the stolen items to the vehicle.

Police added the wheelbarrows were left outside the fence next to the railroad tracks.
