The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Trenton woman reported to the Trenton Police Department that a neighbor's dog bit her 8-year-old daughter at about 8 p.m. May 30 in the 3400 block of Edsel.

The woman said her daughter was at a nearby friend's house playing in the backyard at the time of the incident. She was jumping on a trampoline when her friend's dog bit her on the chin, according to a Trenton police report.

The girl was taken to Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, treated for her injury and released.

The woman told police this was the second time in two months that the dog bit her daughter.
