Where’s the best pasta in Wayne County?

That’s what we’d like to know this week in the latest edition of Food Fight, a new column on Patch that searches for the best places to eat in the area.

Each week, we want your suggestions on the best restaurants, diners and cafes for , barbecue, pasta and more. We want your vote and your opinions for the best entrees in the area.

This week we want to know: Who has the best pasta in Wayne County?

You can let us know by leaving a comment below. You may submit comments until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

From there, we will take the top three nominees and post in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again to decide the Food Fight champion.

Voting will continue until Friday at 5 p.m. Then, on Saturday morning, we will announce the winner.

So show your hometown pride and pick a place near you. Boast about that small family restaurant or other great eatery in your neighborhood.

I agree with Jessica! Antonio's is the best for pasta. They make it right in front of you! There's one in Canton and Farmington Hills as well.

Roman Village in south Dearborn is also part of the Antonio's family!

I have two in Dearborn - Cariera's on Telegraph north of Ford Road and Delicioza on Michigan Avenue and Military.

Michelangelo's Italian Bistro which is tucked away in downtown Wyandotte! In addition to the best pasta in town they also offer delicious Italian wine's, authentic food, to die for desserts, beautiful restaurant setting displaying gorgeous hand painted Italian murals and live romantic Italian music! Can't be beat! Come check it out for dinner, stroll around Wyandotte's art galleries and have coffee at Sander's! Guarantee an enjoyable experience :)

Gregorio's cafe on Biddle Ave in Wyandotte across from the hospital. The sauce is wonderful, excellent wine list, and very efficient wait staff.

Vote for Roman Village / Antonio's. Roman Village is the parent of all of the restaurants in the chain, and the Ruggiero family still runs them all. Big Vote for Roman Village!!

Vic's Casual Dining in Southgate; food and service are excellent. Family owned, Italian-themed menu.

I agree. Gregorio's sauce is the best of all! But my husband would pick Moro's for best pasta or Roman Village.

Giovanni's in Southwest Detroit!! everything is handmade everyday!! The pasta, the sauce, even the salad dressing!! Top notch!! Michelangelo's would be my second choice. The owner, mike, Used to work at Giovanni's too!!
