Patch Readers Said They Prefer One Grocery Store Over Another

Do you shop at Meijer or Kroger?

This is the question we asked readers on the Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch Facebook page Friday and the results put Meijer in the top spot for Trenton and Grosse Ile shoppers.

Five readers said they prefer Meijer over Kroger, three said they would rather shop at Kroger, two readers said they have no preference and one said she shops at Carlo and Joe's.

Here are some of the responses we got on Facebook:

• Michelle Wakefield Shenton I go to both. Depends what I need and how much time I have.
• Jennifer Wilson Kroger, but the one on Telegraph and West. I cannot stand the one at Allen and West. It does not have half of the things I need. They should update that Kroger.
• Margaret Cantfindme I know the floor plans to both, depends on which direction I'm heading, time (before 7p I get my groceries at Trentwood) and if I care if it's brand or store brand.
