Cruising Along In My Automobile...

The nice weather is becoming more predictable and even with all the construction Downriver, I have been seeing more and more vintage / muscle cars on the road and displayed in the empty parking lots.  Personally, I know people who pour hours, money and painstaking restoration detail into their vehicles.  Maybe they are reliving their past?  Maybe it takes them back to a simpler time?  Maybe they want to be the cool kid now that they can afford it? (yeah, I know a few like that) Whatever the case maybe, some of those cars are worth thousands more than the day they hit the showroom floor.

For my car enthusiasts out there, be sure you are insuring that classic car with an appraisal.  If you polish the paint job with a cloth baby diaper (yes, you my friend) make sure you inform your insurance agent of the vehicle and its correct value.  If you don't, you just may be wiping your tears with that same diaper if it gets totaled or stolen and you get regular blue book value...
