Trenton, Michigan (November 20, 2012) – West Grange Pharmacy (3390 West Road, Trenton) will host an exclusive “Rocks Across the Pond” book signing on December 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with  Richard and Kathy Verlander, parents of Detroit Tigers pitcher, Justin Verlander. West Grange Pharmacy guests can meet the Verlanders and purchase personalized copies of “Rocks Across the Pond” (Dementi Milestone Publishing, $29.95).

“Rocks Across the Pond” tells the inspiring story of raising Justin and his younger brother, Ben, from the people that know them best – his mom and dad.  Richard and Kathy Verlander were also the 2008 award winners of the George and Barbara Bush Little League Parents of the Year.

The Verlanders are traveling throughout Michigan, meeting fans and winning the hearts of Detroit sports lovers. “I hope, with the book, that we can share the perspective that Kathy and I have gained from 20 years of trying to do the right thing,” says Richard Verlander. “The book is actually more about success and life than it is about baseball.”
