The Votes Are In For the Trenton Mayoral Primary

The votes were tallied late Tuesday night for who will run for mayor in November.

The unofficial results are in for the 2011 Trenton mayoral primary and current walked away with the majority of the votes.

Incumbent Mayor Gerald Brown received the second most votes, which means newcomer Steven McNeely will not be running in November.

About 16 percent of the of Trenton made it to the polls Tuesday—more than 2,300 people.

Voting Breakdown

  • Kyle Stack received 1,371 votes
  • Gerald Brown received 869 votes
  • Steven McNeely received 71

Both Stack and Brown will move on to the final mayoral election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
