Stuff You Need to Know: Sept. 22

Here are a few things to help you get your day started right.

Good morning Trenton. Here's a rundown of what you need to know today.

  1. Set aside the 20 percent chance of showers, today looks pretty good. The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a high near 69 degrees.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: goalkeeper, goalie or goaltender, the heavily padded player who guards the goal; prevents opponents from scoring by stopping the puck any way he can. Terms brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
  3. The Trenton Invitational Band Competition is this Saturday, Sept. 24 and Patch will be there in tune and ready to play. Well, maybe not play, but we will certainly report on the bands.
  4. Former Trenton Trojan Anthony Bass got his second career win yesterday.
  5. Who are some other Trenton Trojans that went on to play in major league sports? We can think of a few. Can you?
