  1. Be careful out there this morning. The National Weather Service is anticipating patchy (we like that word) fog (we can't say the same for fog) before 8 a.m. The rest of the day will be a short lived reprieve from the rain. According to the NWS today will be partly sunny with a high near 79 degrees and almost no wind. We may see thunderstorms tonight with a low near 63 degrees.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: breakaway, a fast break in which an attacker with the puck skates in alone on the goalie, having gotten past or clear of the defensemen, trapping the opponents behind the play.   3. In case you missed it, the Chrysler Group L.L.C. has decided to building for manufacturing parts. This is said to bring 268 new jobs to Trenton.

  • Trenton High School girls sports from 9 a.m. to noon
  • girls sports from 11 a.m. to noon
  • Trenton High School boys sports from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Boyd W. Arthurs Middle School boys sports from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
