Stuff You Need to Know: Aug. 10

Here are a few things to help you get your day started right.

Good morning Trenton. Here's a rundown of what you need to know today.

  1. Today will be the coldest day we've had in a month. At an icy 75 degrees the National Weather Service is predicting a day of partly sunny skies with winds up to 29 mph.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: endboards, the boards at each end of the rink. Terms brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
  3. Trenton Patch is looking for people who like sports, especially professional teams in Detroit, to blog about all the action. If you might be interested click here.
  4. Reader Danny Snead weighs in on the busing issue and offers some interesting solutions to a problem that just won't go away.
  5. Patch wants to know what supplies kids need before school starts that have been necessary in the past. The official supply list likely won't be available until after Aug. 22 and we can't wait that long. This is a call to all the moms out in Patchland. Can you help us?
