Spotty Fishing This Weekend

The Michigan Department of Natural resources reported the fishing could be rough this weekend due to heavy rains.

Trenton fishermen are going to have a rough time this weekend, according to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources fishing report, due to all the heavy rains washing bugs into the river.

Walleye are still numerous in the Trenton Channel, with fishermen reporting success with large minnows and hand-lining with dark-colored rapalas.

Southward into Lake Erie, the fishing is poorer and the water muddier from the storms.
