Reports: Osama bin Laden is Dead
Nearly 10 years after 9-11, the mastermind behind the most horrific terrorist attack in history is dead, the U.S. president is expected to announce momentarily.
Nearly 10 years after 9-11, the mastermind of the terrorist attack is dead, various news organizations, including CNN and the New York Times, are reporting late Sunday night.
President Barack Obama was expected to address the nation late Sunday night to say that the body of Bin Laden is in U.S. hands, and that it has been confirmed to be that of the terrorist leader.
CNN reports late Sunday night showed spontaneous singing of the national anthem outside the White House as the crowds waiting for Obama to appear.

"Our war is not and never will be with Islam," Obama said in his national address.
"Tonight, let us think back to the sense of unity that prevailed on 9-11," he continued. "I know that it has, at times, frayed, yet today's achievement is a testament to the greatness of our country."
