News Brief: No Contract Agreement for Chrysler and UAW
The contract deadline for Chrysler and the UAW was Sept. 14.
The Chrysler Group and the UAW have decided to continue bargaining beyond their Sept. 14 national labor contract expiration.
The contract agreements have been extended for seven days according to Jodi Tinson, a manufacturing and labor communications representative for Chrysler Group LLC.
Contract negotiations affect many Chrysler employees working in Trenton. There are more than 440 hourly employees at the , with 506 employees in total.
