How to Get What You Want and Achieve Your Goals Faster! Part 2 of 3 in a Series

Life is busy...Are you getting what you want out of life?

Wow, talk about opening up some doors! If you didn’t read Part 1 of this 3 part series, you may want to go back and pay particular attention to the 2nd point to “Decide what you want.” Some statistics state: 90% of people don’t get what they want because they don’t know what they want. I don’t know about you, but to me that’s a pretty big number of people NOT getting what they want!

 Hopefully you had a chance to decide what you want. So let’s dive into how you can bring this into existence. The following 3 important steps are the same steps that I share when I work with my VIP clients, so I believe you will find them to be just as valuable to you.

 Step 1: Turn your “wants” into goals. Someone’s grandmother once said, “wishes don’t wash the dishes”, so you will need to have some type of measurement to distinguish the goals from the wishes.

Use the S.M.A.R.T. model that’s been around for a while to help you stay on track. It’s quick and easy. The acronym stands for: Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Time Oriented.

 Like a GPS, once you know where you are starting from, you can gauge where you are going and how long it will take to get there. Clarity is key!

Step 2: Visualize what you want with the feeling, “as if” it has already occurred and stay focused on your goals.

 Remember the Law of Attraction? Since it’s based on the ‘vibration’ you sending out, you will get what you are thinking and feeling. Too often we end up focusing on what it is that we do NOT want and therefore, we end up attracting more of what we do NOT want into our lives.

 Step 3: Take action to make them happen! No-thing happens until you take action.

 There are two types of action and you will want to do both: 1) planned action and 2) inspired action. You will want to plan out what you are intending to do, but also be aware of the little nudges, gut feelings, urges, flashes of thoughts, etc. that you receive from the Universe. Taking the inspired actions will take you to your goal, almost effortlessly when you learn to trust them!  

 Okay, now you can go out and take some action to be your creative self and design your life around your dreams and desires…instead of living in someone else’s dream! Be sure to check back and catch the last part in this 3 part series as the 3 tips will help to make your journey a little smoother!
