West Grange Pharmacy hosts Trenton author, Laurel Rausch Greshel, for Book Signing on November 10, 2013, in Celebration of National Caregiver Month

November is National Family Caregiver Month.  Over 65 million Americans are among those who provide care for family members or friends who are chronically ill, aged or disabled.  West Grange Pharmacy (3390 West Road, Trenton) will host a book signing during their annual holiday open house on Sunday, November 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. for Trenton resident Laurel Rausch Greshel, author of Amanda, Perfectly Made, A Caregiver’s Journey. Laurel’s daughter was born with spina bifida, a disabling spinal cord birth defect.  Guests can meet Laurel and purchase personalized copies at West Grange Pharmacy.  (iUniverse Publishing).

Amanda, Perfectly Made, is a book of compassion, courage and faith told from a mother’s heart. “After more than twenty-five years of cheers and challenges, tears and triumphs from raising a child with special needs, I felt compelled to write my story,” said Greshel. “I am sharing my journey of faith to give emotional support to others on the same path.  My personal perspective can help foster understanding of the caregiver’s role to friends, teachers and other professionals.”
