Blanzy Clinic welcomes new internist
Oakwood Physicians (OPi), the medical group integrated within the Oakwood Healthcare System, has expanded its roster with the addition of Douglas Zakolski, DO.
Dr. Zakolski has joined the Blanzy Clinic in Southgate and will relocate his Riverview internal medicine practice in September. Patients wishing to schedule appointments in advance are invited to call the Blanzy Clinic at 734.285.0677.
A Riverview resident, Dr. Zakolski is board certified in internal medicine. He has provided care to patients in the Downriver area for more than 17 years.

“We are really thrilled to have Dr. Zakolski on our staff,” said John Blanzy, DO, “he is a caring and compassionate doctor, who will help us continue to provide quality care for our patients.”
Dr. Zakolski received his medical education from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Garden City Hospital. He is on staff at Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton.

Dr. Zakolski is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American Osteopathic Association. When he is not working, he enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Zakolski is always accepting new patients and offers same day appointments. The Blanzy Clinic is located at 14319 Dix Toledo Road in Southgate.
