Watch Instructor Thwart Attacker at PKSA Karate in Trenton

PKSA Karate head instructor Vito Angileri demonstrates one way to defense yourself against an attack.

What would you do if someone attacked you on the street?

Run away? Scream? Fight back?

Head instructor and owner Vito Angileri, 43, shows you how to defend yourself against a punch thrown by karate student Javier VanBattenburg, 19, at PKSA Karate headquarters in Trenton.

PKSA instructors are set to hold a women's self-defense class at 11 a.m. March 16 at Custom Fit Training, 8545 Macomb, on Grosse Ile.

Learn how to avoid dangerous situations and protect yourself from attackers during the one-hour class.

The class costs $9 and women ages 13 and up are welcome to attend the event.

PKSA Karate offers several classes in self-defense and physical fitness for children teens and adults.
