Trenton Tim Hortons is Getting a New Look

The renovation going on at the Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop in Trenton is not quite finished, but the end result will feature a number of updates to the interior and exterior of the restaurant.

Who says Trenton doesn't have a coffee shop?

Though the restaurant is open and doing regular business, an ongoing renovation has begun that will change both the interior and exterior design of the , according to Brynn Burton, manager of Public Relations U.S. for Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop.

Renovations at Tim Hortons restaurants across the country began in 2010.

The exterior of the Trenton location will feature new signage, awnings and other modifications. The interior will feature a contemporary decor, a fireplace, flat screen TV and new digital LCD menu boards to give the restaurant a warm and inviting look, according to Burton.

Some renovations at the Trenton location have already been completed.

"The Trenton restaurant renovation will offer guests both the convenience and speed to come and get what they want quickly, but is also a place where they can come in and relax with family, catch up on work or meet with friends," Burton said.

Burton said she could not confirm a completion date for the restaurant.

I spoke to the owner Joe Zimbalatti who told me the WiFi is on its way. There were a few technical difficulties, but customers should be enjoying Internet access very soon. Look for an update on Trenton Patch!
