Freep: Chrysler Workers Caught Drinking to be Suspended

Chrysler announced that workers from the Trenton plant who were caught drinking on TV will be suspended.

The Chrysler Group L.L.C. has said it plans to identify and suspend workers caught, by WJBK-TV (Channel 2), drinking and smoking near the Trenton Engine Plant according to a report by the Detroit Free Press.

Several workers were caught on camera drinking and smoking both cigarettes and pipes before work and others were caught while on lunch break at a park and in the parking lot of a UAW office the report said.
