Trenton Summer Festival Weather Forecast Looks Bleak

Don't forget your umbrella this afternoon when heading to Downtown Trenton for the Trenton Summer Festival. Find out if you'll need it all weekend.

The Trenton Summer Festival kicked off Thursday night with a special wine tasting, and participants were greeted with a mouthful of rainwater to compliment their delicious wines.

The weather forecast for the three remaining festival days are similar to last night's debacle.

Be sure to bring an umbrella all weekend when heading to Downtown Trenton.

The festival is set for 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Here's a look at the weekend weather forecast:

  • Friday calls for showers and thunderstorms beginning in the afternoon with a high near 77 degrees. Northwest winds 9 to 11 mph, with gusts up 18 mph. Friday night festival participants will likely see showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. with a 70 percent chance of percipitation.  
  • Saturday will likely be partly cloudy during the day with showers likely and a high near 75 degrees. Northwest winds 3 to 8 mph and a 70 percent chance of precipitation  Saturday night has a slightly less chance of precipitation at 40 percent with a low around 62 degrees.
  • Sunday shows a chance of showers, but partly sunny with a high near 75 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
