Lonestar Headlines Free Wayne County Parks Country Music Festival

The 3rd annual New Country on the River event on July 26 features top artists along the river's edge at Elizabeth Park in Trenton.

Reunited with original lead singer Richie McDonald, the multi-platinum country music quartet Lonestar is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with a tour that includes a July 26 stop as the headline act for Wayne County Parks presents the 3rd Annual New Country on the River July 26.

Fans will enjoy a full day of country music and fun along the river’s edge at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, of the gems of the Wayne County parks system.

The New Country on the River concert event also features Allan Craig Miller & the Nashville Machine, Dani Vitani and Ten Hands Tall, Jo Caine, and Ty Stone.

This event is free and open to the public. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Visitors will not be permitted to bring their own grills or alcoholic beverages into Wayne County Parks for this event.

Parking is available in Elizabeth Park for a $5 donation in support of Wayne County Parks. This event is co-sponsored by Friends of Wayne County Parks and 99.5 WYCD.

Here’s the lineup:

1-2 p.m.: Allan Craig Miller & the Nashville Machine                         

2:30-3:30 p.m.: Dani Vitani and Ten Hands Tall                                

4-5 p.m.: Jo Caine                     

5:30-6:30 p.m.: Ty Stone         

7-8:30 p.m.: Lonestar                                                                                

Elizabeth Park is located on West Jefferson, south of West Road in Trenton, Michigan.
