Free Country Concert at Elizabeth Park Saturday

New County on the River sponsors 99.5 WYCD and Wayne County Parks ask concert goers bring a new unwrapped toy to help a child in need.

You can finally dust off that cowboy hat and those rattlesnake skin boots and wear them with pride at the New Country on the River free concert at .

The boot scootin' boogie lasts all day from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 28 with a line up of great country music acts:

  • 1 p.m. -- Kari Lynch Band
  • 2:30 p.m. -- Annabelle Road
  • 4 p.m. -- Jo Cain
  • 5:30 p.m. -- Greg Bates
  • 7 p.m. -- Chuck Wicks
  • 8:45 p.m. -- James Otto

Be sure to bring a little extra cash for food and drinks, so you can stay nourished while enjoying the celebration of country music.

The event is sponsored by Wayne County Parks and 99.5 WYCD who ask country fans bring a new unwrapped toy to help a child in need.

Other sponsors include the City of Trenton, Michigan Lottery, Westside Beer Distributors, Detroit Medical Center and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
