Viewfinder: It's A Small World at the Bob Seger Concert
Patch photographer and Trenton resident Jen Holt shares her experience at the Bob Seger concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Who would've thought when tickets were purchased months ago that when we sat down in our seats, we would be sitting next to family?
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band played a concert Tuesday at the Palace of Auburn Hills. People poured into the stadium to watch a legend.
As we sat down awaiting the main show we were approached by a lady sitting next to us. She kept making comments about how we were "duddies" or fuddy-duddies and how "she hoped we would dance." Mind you it was late in the evening and we were waiting for the main act.

As we looked past her we realized it was my husband's cousin Louis and his wife, Debbie, and sister-in-law, Kathy. She was the lady calling us "duddies." We felt much better knowing it was her. We drove all those miles to sit next to family from Brownstown. What a small world.
Bob Seger was a hit along with our company. It was a long concert and he did a great job entertaining the crowd, especially after I found out his age. Holy cow—66-years-old. There are a few tickets left for Thursday and Saturday. Grab them while you can.
