  1. The rain is back and it has a score to settle. The National Weather Service is calling for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The rest of the day will be partly sunny with a high near 77 degrees and gusts up to 24 mph. At night, Trenton might see more thunderstorms until 2 a.m. with a low near 61 degrees.
  2. In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: break, a chance to start a rush when the opposing forwards are caught out of position. Terms are brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
  3. School's out for the summer. Today is the last day for final exams at and the last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m.
  4. The Annual Andy Ross Motorcycle Ride is this Saturday. The ride was designed to help remember dedicated firefighter Andy Ross while raising money for the Trenton Fire Fighters Charities. Those not interested in riding can sign up to volunteer or party with riders before and after the event at . Registration begins at 9 a.m. at and the ride starts at noon.
  5. For those quilt enthusiasts, the annual "A Patchwork of Color" Garden Walk and Quilt Show is also on Saturday. The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Trenton Cultural Center. Quilt and garden lovers will enjoy formal garden tours, entertainment and garden-style luncheon.
