Share Your Fall Photos with Patch

The leaves are starting to turn, and Halloween is just around the corner.

There is a chill in the air and fall colors are turning up all over town. We know you'll be out snapping photos at your local cider mill, or while taking the kids to a corn maze and pumpkin patch.

We'd love for you to share your fall photos with us. And we've made it super easy to do so!

Check the upper right-hand corner of the site and make sure you're logged in. Once you've signed onto the site, head to our new photo blog. At the top, click in the "Write a new post" box and you'll be on your way to uploading your photos. If you'd like, you can tell us a little about the photo and any special meaning it has to you.

The photo will be posted immediately to our homepage for everyone to see. You'll also have the chance to post your photo directly to your Facebook page, as well, if you'd like.

The photo blog is a great place to showcase your random shots from around town. However, if you're fond of snapping photos and want a spot all of your own to showcase your work, you can easily create your own photo blog on the site.

To start your own blog, check the upper right-hand corner of the site and make sure you're logged in. Once you've signed onto the site, head to our main blogging page where you can create a blog. You'll be asked three things: to name your blog, a short description of the blog and then to upload a thumbnail to appear on the account. Once you hit the create button, you'll be prompted to make your first blog post. It's the easy!

So, whether you've got one photo to share in our community photo album or dozens to fill your personal blog, Patch wants to see (and showcase to the community!) your talent.
