Mom will always say, "It's not the gift, but the thought that counts." While that sentiment is wonderful, it is a universal truth that a thought is always more fun when accompanied by a brightly wrapped package.
With Mother's Day right around the corner, the question on every child and husband's mind is, "What do I get her?"
There's the usual: flowers, chocolates, a handmade card; the unusal: skydiving lesson or a gift card for plastic surgery; and the unfortunate: a new set of cookware or complete collection of Reader's Digest condensed books.
But what does mom really want? We're asking the moms of Macomb to share what's on their Mother's Day gift list, and please, make the thought count.
