I-94 Lane Closures Start Friday, Traffic Shifts at Telegraph Road
No lane closures are expected on Telegraph under I-94 during the project.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will close one lane on I-94 in each direction starting Friday, shifting traffic at Telegraph Road.
The closures will take place as crews repair drainage issues and reconstruct the bridge approaches. The $1.5-million project is expected to be finished by October, according to MDOT.
While drainage issues have caused settling of the pavement approaching the I-94 bridge, the actual bridge does not need repair. No lane closures are expected on Telegraph Road under I-94 and all interchange ramps will remain open, MDOT said.
