Arthurs Closet Seeking Specific Donations, Volunteers

Volunteers at St. Paul Lutheran Church said they are looking for warm clothing, shoes and boots to help keep needy Trenton, Grosse Ile families warm this holiday season.

Any donation is a good donation, but volunteers for Arthurs Closet at Arthurs Middle School are encouraging people to donate warm clothing, shoes and boots and not appliances and toys.

Volunteers at St. Paul Lutheran Church, where many donations are sorted and categorized before being sent to Arthurs Closet, have been receiving several non-clothing items, recently.

Volunteer Silvia Duclo said non-clothing donations should be sent to nearby St. Thomas Episcopal Church -- located across the street.
