Tuesday, February 19, a GENEALOGY WORKSHOP will be conducted by the Monguagon Chapter NSDAR at the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library, 2790 Westfield Road, Trenton, from 5 to 8 PM. If you are not sure about your ancestry and want to find out more about how your lineage might lead you to a Revolutionary War Patriot, attend this workshop. It is FREE to all who need help with their family trees, even if you are not interested in membership with the DAR or SAR. Bring any useful data about your family: birth, marriage, death records, wills, land and probate records, obituaries or family histories. Chapter members will assist on a one-to-one basis. More About Trenton Veterans Memorial Library
Established in 1927, the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library is the first public library to open in Trenton; its importance in the library system remains today. The library was renamed from the Trenton Public Library to the Veterans Memorial Library in the mid-1970's. It provides more than 21,000 square feet of space and offers more than 90,000 books. The building is designed to allow for new technology as it becomes available.
