President Barack Obama addressed the nation Sunday night to inform the public that U.S. forces had killed Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Bin Laden was generally considered the mastermind behind the heinous attacks on September 11, 2001. Patch went to the V.F.W. Hall Post 1888 Trenton Post to speak with veterans about their initial reactions to the news that brought masses of people to the White House to sing patriotic songs and cheer well into the night.
