I applaud the U. S. House of Representatives for voting to audit the Federal Reserve. I am disappointed that John Dingell, who was once considered a watchdog in Washington, voted against openness, accountability and transparency in our government. After 57 years, John is now one of the good ol' boys who cares more about his friends in D.C. than representing the concerns of the people of his district.
Ron Paul has championed this call for transparency by demanding that "we should have openness of government all the time." This is a tribute to the man who has stimulated many to rethink our policies in Washington, D.C. and has energized many young people to get involved with politics. I would urge the Senate to pass this bill as well.
Americans are tired of the government growing bigger and less accountable every day while at the same time raising taxes, increasing regulations, and writing laws for its citizens that the lawmakers don't follow.
I will be a voice for the people of the(new) 12th District, not the status quo and Washington lobbyists to whom my opponent has become loyal. After all, he gets 76% off his multimillion dollar campaign contributions from lobbyists. If elected to represent you I will vote for accountability, smaller government, and transparency for the people of the 12th district of Michigan.

I have voted for Dingell in the past, but agree, we need a change. Its time for John to step aside and let others in.

I applaud you for running against an old guard politician. Its not easy to take on someone with such a strong political machine. I am not comfortable with your Tea Party ties though, you should be a voice of ALL the people. I like a more moderate candidate like KAREN JACOBSEN. Dingell needs to go.

Tea party ties are nothing to be afraid of, I'm not a tea partier myself but it's a great movement that is really just concerned about the amount of taxes we pay. I personally know Cindy and she IS the right person for the job! She is also the only candidate endorsed by the Citizens for Traditional Values, she's Pro Jobs AND Pro Family!

Cindy would make a great candidate for the 12th District as who agrees with small gov't ideals.

Cindy has concern for jobs, family, less government supervision which would translate into less taxes out of our pockets. Cindy is pro life not wanting the Washington to use our money for planned parenthood and also through other programs providing abortions in other countries even if it violates our conscience. Make your VOTE COUNT to stop run away GOVERNMENT, August 6th. Primary

Don't you just love the sentiment of "I'm gonna fix things" by Dingell. You've been in office since 1955 and you haven't "fixed" things by now, get out. Just like Obama has ruined things in three years time - GET OUT!

No more right-wing, tea-party, fruit-cakes in Washington, to tie up and obstruct the proper functioning of our government, even if they should have a (D) after their name. I support both President Obama and the re-election of Congressman John Dingell.
