Woman Linked to Man Killed by Woodhaven Police Arraigned on Retail Fraud
Police said the woman ran away after Woodhaven Police shot a man she was with after he allegedly attempted to run two officers down with a stolen car.
A woman who was allegedly shoplifting at Walmart with a man who was later shot dead by Woodhaven Police was arraigned on a charge of retail fraud.
Rachelle Marie Sizemore was arraigned Friday morning before Judge James Kersten at 33rd District Court in Woodhaven.
A pretrial is set for 9 a.m. June 27 before Judge Jennifer Coleman Hesson.
Woodhaven police said Sizemore ran away after two officers opened fire on a man with whom she was allegedly shoplifting at the Woodhaven Walmart Tuesday night.
The officers shot and killed the man in the store's parking lot after he attempted to run them down in a stolen car, according to a Woodhaven Police report.
Kersten ordered Sizemore to post a $7,000 ten percent bond with the following conditions: not to return to any Walmart store and not to posses or consume alcohol or illegal controlled substances.
Sizemore also has warrants in Romulus and Southgate, according to information provided by 33rd District Court.
