Welcome to Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch
Today marks the launch of the combined Trenton and Grosse Ile site.
Welcome, readers, to the Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch.
Starting today, all the news and features you've been getting on Trenton business and residents will now include the Township of Grosse Ile business and residents as well, right here at the new Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch.
You can expect the same in-depth coverage of both communities, as we continue to highlight news and events in Trenton and Grosse Ile.
Why combine the two sites?
Simple, readers have been requesting it.
One thing we've noticed about Trenton and Grosse Ile is that residents of each town often frequent the other. The communities complement one another well, and each have unique offerings residents in both towns enjoy. It became apparent, as Trenton Patch's readership grew, that the two communities would be best served with one site, with everything in one convenient place.
The new site will continue to be a one-stop destination for everything about Trenton and Grosse Ile. This means news content, blogs, events and announcements for the two communities now will be accessible all in one spot—right here.
To make sure you make the most of out of the combined site, please "Like" Trenton Patch on Facebook and follow the @TrentonPatch account on Twitter, as those will continue to be the social media hubs for the new site.
I'll still be your editor and you'll still see me at important events and government meetings in both communities. If I miss you, don't hesitate to drop me a line at natestemen@patch.com or (734) 250-4451.

It may now be time to delete. We'll see how this unfolds.

The new logo combining the two names is terrible...the idea to combine the cities on one patch makes perfect sense, but the logo needs work.
