New Mayor Interviewing for Trenton Chief of Police
Trenton Mayor Kyle Stack has interviewed for a new chief of police.
In only her third week as mayor of Trenton Kyle Stack began interviewing for a potential replacement for current Trenton Police Chief William Lilienthal.
Stack said she had not picked a new chief as of last Wednesday.
The deadline for appointing new department heads is Dec. 14.
So far, Stack has appointed Joann Perna as director of parks and recreation, Bruce Vick as fire chief, Bill Hogan as city engineer and Paul Haley as emergency management director.
Stack said there might be more changes to come in the next few weeks.
Lilienthal has been chief of the Trenton Police Department for over four years. He was named chief under former Trenton Mayor Gerald Brown.
He is the former Wyandotte chief of police. He has a bachelor's degree in criminal science from Michigan State University and a master's in interdisciplinary technology from Eastern Michigan University.

Kyle wasn't a blind outsider coming in and randomly changing things. She has been behind the scenes and seeing What has been working and what hasn't thats how she knew What positions needed to be changed and she did make the Right moves.

I would vote for Kyle again! You can't please everyone. We needed changes made and she is making it happen. If we wanted what we already had we would not have voted her in.
