Pics: Trenton Teachers Serve Up Fun at McDonald's
Trenton teachers worked the afternoon shift at a local McDonald's to raise funds for Jessie L. Anderson Elementary
Teachers and administrators from Jessie L. Anderson Elementary School took a shift at the McDonald’s on West Road from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday to raise money for the schools' parent teacher organization.
Nearly 20 teachers and administrators wiped tables, passed out ice cream, took orders and cooked food for patrons of the restaurant.
The restaurant owner agreed to donate $1 from every value meal purchased with a coupon provided to Anderson students.
“I just think it is so wonderful that this business is willing to do this for our school,” Anderson parent Tracy Loger said.
Loger added the restaurant was “a full house the entire time.”
The funds will be used throughout the 2012-13 school year for school trips, classroom projects and assemblies.
This is the third year the McDonald’s has participated in the fundraiser.

It was awesome! Thanks to Tammy Cullen who organized the event, the teachers who participated, the families who came, and McDonald's for sponsoring a wonderful fundraiser!
